Role Description The Admission Counsellor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The individual in this role will guide prospective learners through the admission process, including explaining program offerings, eligibility criteria, and application steps. Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to inquiries via phone, email, and in person, conducting counselling sessions, and maintaining accurate records of leads and conversions.

The Admission

Counsellor will collaborate with the sales and academic teams to achieve admission targets,



support outreach activities such as seminars or campus events, and provide transparent, professional communication at all stages of the counselling cycle.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Communication and general Communication skills to engage with prospective learners and stakeholders effectively.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, address concerns, and provide a supportive admission experience.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to convert leads into enrollments, follow up with prospects, and meet admission targets.
- Candidates should possess an understanding of the Education domain to explain programs, eligibility, and career pathways accurately.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include proficiency with MS Office and CRM tools, ability to work with admission targets and timelines, strong organizational and documentation skills, and prior experience in counselling, education, or EdTech environments.
- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline is preferred; relevant certifications in counselling, sales, or education management are an added advantage.
