Role Description The Accounts Receivable Caller role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The role involves making outbound calls to insurance companies and other payers to follow up on outstanding claims, resolve denials, and secure timely payments. The caller reviews account status, verifies claim details, documents all interactions accurately in the system, and escalates complex issues to senior team members when needed.

Day-to-day responsibilities include working from payer reports,



updating patient account information, adhering to client and regulatory guidelines, and meeting defined productivity and quality targets. The role also requires collaborating with internal teams in revenue cycle management to ensure issues are resolved efficiently and payments are posted correctly.

Qualifications

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to speak clearly and professionally with payers and internal teams.
- Sound understanding of basic healthcare revenue cycle processes, medical billing, and insurance follow-up or willingness to learn quickly in these areas.
- Competence in using computer systems, including MS Office tools and billing or practice management software.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting calls, updating account information, and following standardized workflows.
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced, target-driven environment, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Prior experience in accounts receivable follow-up, US healthcare processes, or BPO/voice-based roles is an advantage.
- Minimum educational qualification: bachelor’s degree or equivalent; strong English language skills required.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts aligned with client requirements and maintain high ethical and professional standards.
