Role Description The Accounts Payable Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Katra. This role oversees the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, payments, and credit notes in accordance with company policies and statutory requirements. The supervisor monitors daily AP operations, including invoice verification, approvals, reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries, while maintaining up-to-date records and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.





The role also involves coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies, optimizing workflows to improve efficiency, and supporting audits by providing required documentation and reports.

The Accounts Payable

Supervisor will guide and mentor team members, allocate work, review performance, and promote compliance and internal controls within the finance function.

Qualifications

- Robust supervisory skills, including team leadership, workload management, and performance review capabilities.
- Solid analytical skills for invoice verification, discrepancy resolution, and reconciliation of vendor accounts and ledgers.
- Core finance knowledge, including understanding of payables processes, taxation implications, and compliance with financial policies.
- Hands-on experience with accruals and journal entries (accounting), especially in relation to month-end and year-end closing.
- Proficiency with accounting and ERP systems, spreadsheets, and financial reporting tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field equivalent) are an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to work within deadlines in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with vendors, cross-functional teams, and management.
- Knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST and other relevant statutory requirements is beneficial.
