Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in the Greater Surat Area. The Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting activities, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and preparing invoices and vouchers.

Responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, supporting inventory and cost accounting, and assisting with monthly and annual closing. The role also involves preparing basic financial reports, supporting statutory and tax compliance, coordinating with internal teams and external auditors,



and maintaining accurate documentation. The Accountant will contribute to process improvements and ensure adherence to company policies and relevant accounting standards.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in accounting principles, including ledger management, journal entries, and reconciliation.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel for financial data analysis.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other relevant tax and statutory compliance requirements in India.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to manage multiple financial tasks within deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with operations, sales, and management teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field; skilled certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, steel, or trading industries is preferred but not mandatory.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and willingness to work on-site in the Greater Surat Area.
