Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Accountant to manage the financial operations of our school. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, hands-on experience in school accounting, and the ability to handle financial records accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting activities of the school

- Handle student fee collection, reconciliation, and outstanding tracking

- Maintain books of accounts, ledgers, and vouchers

- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements

- Manage payroll processing and salary disbursement

- Handle statutory compliances such as GST, TDS, PF, ESI (if applicable)





- Assist in audits and coordinate with auditors

- Prepare budgets and monitor expenses

- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of financial data

- Coordinate with management for financial planning and reporting

Qualifications

- B.Com / M.Com

- Experience: Minimum 3 years

- Experience in school / educational institution accounting (Preferred)

Skills

- Solid knowledge of accounting and taxation

- Proficiency in Tally / accounting software and MS Excel

- Attention to detail and accuracy

- Good communication and coordination skills

- Ability to work independently
