Admissions Counsellor – Scaler School of Technology (SST)

Choosing a college is one of the most key decisions a student and their family will make. At Scaler School of Technology, our admissions counsellors are the people families turn to as they work through that decision. Counsellors answer their questions honestly, understand what matters to them, and help them think it through with clarity.

We’re looking for Admissions Counsellors to join our core admissions team and guide the next set of students through this journey.

Key details

- Location: Bangalore (on-site)
- Working days: Wednesday to Sunday
- Languages: Fluent English and one regional language (Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Hindi)

What you’ll do:

1) Guiding students from interest to application

- Connect with students exploring SST, help them understand the programme, and guide them to register for NSET, our entrance test
- Keep a steady, thoughtful follow-up rhythm so every student has what they need to take the next step

- 2) Helping families make the right decision

- For students who clear our admissions process and receive an offer, hold in-depth phone, video and in-person conversations with them and their parents
- Understand each family’s academic goals, financial considerations and how they’re comparing their options, and help them evaluate whether SST is the right fit
- Support families through important moments such as offer acceptance, fee deadlines and comparing colleges, with calm, clear and accurate guidance
- Conduct campus tours and counselling sessions for families who want to see SST up close

3) Working with the team

- Own your goals across test registrations, offer acceptances and enrolments
- Keep clear, detailed notes in our CRM so the team always has the full picture
- Share regular updates with your Team Lead and flag complex cases early, such as deadline extensions, academic questions or parent concerns
- Work closely with operations,



marketing and academic teams to give every family a smooth experience

4) Between admissions cycles (September to December)

- Represent SST at school visits, career fairs, info sessions and campus events
- Help build interest and relationships ahead of the next admissions cycle

What you’ll need

- 2–6 years of experience in edtech B2C sales or counselling, guiding students and parents through course or college decisions
- An engineering degree, or strong experience in the Indian engineering education space, such as having counselled students for tech courses
- Fluent spoken English, with clear articulation and a calm, mature tone
