Job highlights

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or relevant engineering with 3-5+ years in 3D modeling using SolidWorks, Inventor, or AutoCAD Plant 3D

- Create 3D models of equipment and plant layouts, develop piping routing, generate 2D fabrication drawings and BOMs, produce 3D visuals, and coordinate with engineers

Role & responsibilities

- Create 3D models of equipment, filtration systems, tanks, pipes & fittings, and complete plant layouts

- Develop 3D piping routing and equipment arrangements, and run clash checks

- Generate 2D fabrication / GA drawings and BOMs from 3D models

- Produce 3D visuals and renderings to support proposals and design reviews

- Coordinate with design engineers to optimize layouts to project timelines

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / a relevant engineering discipline

- 3-5+ years of 3D modeling experience (SolidWorks / Inventor / AutoCAD Plant 3D or equivalent)

- Ability to work from P&IDs; and engineering inputs

- Robust spatial visualization and attention to detail
