About the Role

Adani Energy Solutions Limited (AESL) is looking for an experienced security leader to lead security operations across substations, transmission projects, stores, offices, and associated facilities within an assigned geographical cluster. The role will be responsible for protecting people, critical infrastructure, and business assets through effective security governance, risk management, incident response, technology deployment, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead cluster-wide security operations and ensure implementation of security policies, SOPs, and standards.
- Conduct Security Risk Assessments (SRA) and maintain risk registers for all assigned locations.
- Develop and implement risk-based security plans covering manpower deployment, surveillance, perimeter protection, access control, and emergency response.
- Manage incidents related to theft, trespass, vandalism, fire, protests, land disputes, and law-and-order situations.
- Liaise with Police, District Administration, Government Authorities, and local stakeholders.
- Support business and project teams in managing security risks related to land acquisition, right-of-way (ROW), compensation, and stakeholder issues.
- Monitor security agency performance, contractual compliance, manpower deployment, and statutory requirements.
- Oversee CCTV, access control, video management systems, intrusion detection systems, and other security technologies.




- Conduct audits, mock drills, investigations, and security awareness programs.
- Prepare MIS reports, budgets, incident analysis, and management updates.

Desired Experience:

- Minimum 15 years of experience in Corporate Security, Industrial Security, Critical Infrastructure Security, Energy, Utilities, Power, Transmission, Manufacturing, Mining, Infrastructure, or Large Project Environments.
- Experience managing multi-site or regional security operations.
- Robust exposure to investigations, crisis management, police liaison, vendor management, and security technology.
- Experience working with government authorities and local administrations.
- Retired Armed Forces Officers, CAPF Officers, Police Officers, or experienced Corporate Security Professionals are preferred.

Education:

- Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university.
- Certification or formal training in Security Management, Disaster Management, Fire & Safety, Risk Management, or Business Continuity Management will be preferred.
