About TEKA

TEKA is a Japanese-inspired café in Indiranagar, Bangalore, bringing Japanese tea culture and casual Japanese food to the local community.

We are looking for a friendly, motivated, and hands-on Café All-Rounder to join our team.

You will be involved in beverage preparation, food preparation, customer service, and daily café operations.

Freshers are welcome! Training will be provided. We value a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

Beverage Preparation

- Prepare matcha, hojicha, coffee, lattes, and other café beverages.
- Follow recipes and maintain consistent drink quality.
- Learn and follow TEKA’s beverage preparation standards.

Food Preparation
- Prepare light Japanese-style café food, including sandwiches, onigiri, toast, and desserts.
- Follow recipes and maintain food quality and presentation.
- Assist with food preparation and ingredient preparation.

Customer Service
- Welcome customers and take orders.
- Handle billing and POS operations.
- Provide friendly service and answer customers’ questions about the menu.

Daily Café Operations
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, counter, and seating areas.




- Wash dishes and clean equipment.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Help manage stock and inventory.

Events and Teamwork
- Support matcha workshops and special café events.
- Work closely with team members during busy periods.
- Be flexible and assist with different tasks as needed.

Requirements

- Freshers are welcome to apply. Previous café or restaurant experience is an advantage but not required.
- Willingness to learn beverage preparation, food handling, and café operations.
- A friendly personality and a positive, customer-oriented attitude.
- Valuable communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team and handle multiple tasks.
- Basic English communication skills.

Training will be provided for beverage preparation, food handling, and daily café operations.
