Backend Architect

SC - fashion quick-commerce: 60-minute delivery - scaling catalog, search, personalisation, and a live supply chain. You will lead backend architecture across Consumer & Supply Chain pods as a hands-on IC setting standards for the engineering team.

What You Own

- System design and tech direction for all backend, end to end

- Architecture for scale: search, ranking, catalog, order/inventory, real-time logistics

- Service boundaries, data models, reliability, latency, cost

- Raising the bar via design reviews, standards, mentoring the team

Must have

- 7 yrs backend built systems 0-to-1 and run them at scale

- Owned distributed systems under real load: high QPS, low latency, event-driven

- Strong on data modelling, caching, queues,



observability

- High scale Consumer or quick-commerce / e-commerce background preferred

Nice to have

- Search/ranking or personalisation infra

- Early-stage / founding-engineer experience

- Expertise on Python and Go in high-scale production systems

- React Native awareness (FE is RN, iOS Android)
