- We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer skilled in JavaScript and Node.js to join our team
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of backend development principles and experience working on complex projects
- This role requires working from the office six days a week
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using JavaScript and Node.js
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Implement and maintain APIs to support various platforms (web/mobile)
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Troubleshoot and debug applications
- Perform code reviews and contribute to team best practices
- Work with DevOps to deploy and maintain applications in a production environment
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Backend Developer
- Solid proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js
- Experience with database management and design (SQL/NoSQL)
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience with API design and development
- Knowledge of version control systems (eg, Git)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
