What you'll do

Fair warning: at Fabric, you'll tackle hard problems and juggle shifting priorities daily but you'll never be bored

Here's what your role will involve:

Prompt Engineering

As with any Generative AI product, excellent prompting is how you deliver quality outcomes more so in our product which involves making decisions on peoples careers! You will:

Design and refine prompts for resume screening, interview response evaluation, and other tasks in the hiring workflow

Identify areas where the AI struggles, and experiment with new prompting techniques or rubric adjustments to fix them

Evals

This role will involve setting up the right evals so that we can objectively measure accuracy and track progress

You will

Build structured evaluation frameworks to assess candidates consistently across roles and experience levels

Curate and manage high-quality datasets that serve as the "ground truth" for AI evaluation

Continuously test and improve prompts by comparing AI-generated evaluations to actual hiring outcomes

Develop straightforward, repeatable methods (manual or automated)



to track accuracy and reduce bias in assessments

Define SOPs for updating evaluation criteria as technologies and hiring standards evolve

Elevate Candidate Experience

Youll work on improving existing features and coming up with new ones to enable a stellar interview experience for candidates

You will

Obsessively analyze interviews, identify pain points, and turn insights into seamless, human-friendly experiences

Engage directly with candidates, collect their candid feedback, and champion improvements that set a new standard in hiring

Who you are

You have exceptional spoken and written communication skills, especially in explaining technical or nuanced ideas clearly

Youre analytical and structured in your thinking

Youre curious and experimental, willing to test hypotheses, learn from edge cases, and refine over time

AI tools and Large Language Models (LLMs) excite you rather than intimidate you

You're a team player who turns vague challenges into transparent, impactful solutions

Bonus points if you've touched recruiting, instructional design, content strategy, or products demanding precision and clarity

More importantly, you're someone who takes ownership, isn't afraid to iterate rapidly

You understand both the technical and human elements of the hiring process and are committed to improving it
