Job Summary:

Hope you are doing well.I am reaching out regarding an exciting opening for the position of Assistant Manager Accounts at Madhu Jayanti International Ltd. (MJIL), a leading tea manufacturer with brands such as TE-A-ME, TEZ, Jaago, and Celeste. The role is based at our Howrah, Salap factory location.We are looking for an experienced Finance professional with solid knowledge of accounting, costing, budgeting, MIS, and variance analysis. The candidate should preferably have experience in a factory/manufacturing setup and be comfortable working with ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle accounting activities including GST, TDS, inventory valuation, and physical verification.
- Prepare and manage budgets, MIS reports, and variance analysis.
- Analyze budget variances and cost variances and provide relevant insights.
- Calculate and verify contractor bills as per agreed terms and requirements.




- Calculate transfer pricing and support pricing calculations for new SKU quotations.
- Work with ERP systems for accounting, costing, inventory, and MIS activities.
- Coordinate with different departments to collect and validate financial and operational data.
- Manage and guide the finance/costing team to ensure timely completion of activities.
- Support management with costing, budgeting, and financial analysis as required.

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of Accounting, GST, and TDS.
- Good understanding of Inventory Valuation and Physical Verification.
- Experience in Budget Preparation and MIS Reporting.
- Knowledge of Variance Analysis and Costing.
- Experience in Contractor Bill Calculation and Transfer Pricing.
- Good knowledge of ERP/Accounting software and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and team-management skills.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing/factory environment is preferred.
