Job Title – AI Platform Owner (MLOps / LLMOps / AgentOps Lead)

Job Nature – Ful Time/ Permanent

Experience – 12+ years in cloud platform / DevOps engineering, of which 3+ years on Azure and 2+ years running MLOps / LLMOps or AI platform services

Key Responsibilities:

- Co-own and then own the target Azure Data & AI platform architecture, service catalogue and platform backlog.
- Define the MLOps / LLMOps / AgentOps lifecycle: environments, registries (AI registry and agent inventory), pipelines, evaluation gates, promotion, versioning, monitoring and rollback patterns.
- Establish cost management, performance, reliability and observability standards; own platform telemetry dashboards and cloud cost controls.




- Provide self-service paths and golden templates (infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, agent runtime, grounding, content safety) for pod engineering.
- Review platform changes and operational readiness with DevOps engineers, Security and ArcelorMittal operations; run the joint readiness review that precedes ownership transfer.
- Lead the ArcelorMittal AI Platform team (Platform Engineers, Data & AI Platform Engineers) and accept transferred services, runbooks and documentation.
- Manage platform dependencies on ArcelorMittal cloud (landing zone, networking, identity), Aura/Databricks and licences/quotas.
- Operate the platform ArcelorMittal-led with partner advisory support; define the long-term operations and support model.

Preferred Skills The successful AI Platform Owner (MLOps / LLMOps / AgentOps Lead) combines solid professional depth with a practical delivery mindset. The individual must be able to establish clear methods, make sound decisions, develop colleagues and progressively assume ownership from the implementation partner. Success requires confidence working across India and Europe and balanced judgement across delivery speed, reuse, security and Responsible AI.

- Azure platform engineering: landing zones, Azure Policy, infrastructure-as-code (Bicep/Terraform), Azure DevOps / GitHub CI/CD, networking and identity
- MLOps / LLMOps practices: model and prompt versioning, evaluation gates, Azure AI Foundry deployments, monitoring and drift detection, rollback
- Operating AI services: Azure AI Foundry / Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Content Safety, Container Apps / Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure API Management
- Platform product ownership: service catalogue, backlog management, service-level agreements,



cloud cost management
- Operational readiness: runbooks, incident management, observability (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics)
- Microsoft Fabric and Databricks platform administration
- Policy-as-code, DevSecOps and GitHub Advanced Security
- Experience leading offshore/nearshore engineering teams (India Global Capability Centre)
- Certifications: AZ-400 (DevOps Engineer Expert), AZ-305, AI-102, Terraform Associate

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data, Business or a relevant discipline. Advanced degree or equivalent professional experience is an advantage.

Deliverables

This role helps establish a permanent ArcelorMittal AI capability, embeds repeatable engineering and control practices, and reduces dependency on the implementation partner through structured ownership transfer. Success is demonstrated when:

- Pods use supported platform paths; releases are reproducible and rollback is proven; evaluation and telemetry are present for every agent; platform documentation, service catalogue, monitoring and security controls are complete and a joint readiness review is accepted before ownership transfer; platform support burden is controlled.
