AI-Savvy PCB Design Engineer – KiCad

At Yudu Robotics / Evobi Automations, we’re looking for an electronics engineer who combines strong PCB design fundamentals with the ability to use AI tools and KiCad to design, validate, and iterate PCBs faster.

What we’re looking for:





- Minimum 1 year of hands-on PCB design experience and at least 10 completed PCB designs.

- Proven experience designing and routing 4-layer PCBs.

- Robust understanding of schematic-to-PCB workflows, component footprints, design rules, DRC/ERC checks, grounding, power distribution, and EMI/EMC considerations.

- Working knowledge of high-speed routing, differential pairs, controlled impedance, and signal integrity.

- Proficiency in KiCad, including efficient layout, design-rule configuration, and manufacturing-ready Gerber/BOM outputs.

- Ability to use AI tools effectively for design assistance, layout reviews, rule verification, debugging, and design optimisation.

Engineers who can independently take a PCB from schematic and component selection through layout, validation, and manufacturing handoff—and use AI to improve speed without compromising quality.
