Role Description The Admissions Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for guiding prospective learners and families through the admissions process across Deeksha’s programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include engaging with inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings, providing accurate information about courses, campuses, and admission criteria, and supporting applicants in completing forms and documentation.



The role involves conducting campus tours, participating in admission events, seminars, and school outreach activities, and maintaining detailed records of leads, follow-ups, and conversions using Deeksha’s systems.

The Admissions

Counselor will collaborate closely with academic and marketing teams to align messaging, address applicant concerns, and contribute to achieving enrollment targets while ensuring a positive, supportive experience for all prospective learners.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Interpersonal Communication and Communication skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to provide timely, empathetic, and accurate support throughout the admissions journey.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to manage leads, conduct follow-ups, and contribute to enrollment targets in an ethical and learner-centric manner.
- Candidates should possess a good understanding of the Education domain, preferably with experience in K–12, competitive exams, or higher education admissions.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in any discipline, proficiency with CRM or admissions management tools, strong organizational and record-keeping abilities, and the capacity to work flexible hours during peak admission seasons.
