Company Description Shavyaa Geotex is a dynamic, technology-driven manufacturer based in Kim (Surat), Gujarat, India, with operations that began in 2014. The company specializes in woven polypropylene products, including fabrics, sacks, laminated bags with multiple colour printing. Its manufacturing facility covers approximately 90,000 square feet, supporting high-capacity, quality-focused production.

Role Description The Accountant role at Shavyaa Geotex is a full time, on-site position located in Kim. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, including bookkeeping, posting journal entries, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank statements. The Accountant will prepare financial statements, monitor accounts payable and receivable, handle invoices and payment processing, and support budgeting and cost tracking for manufacturing and sales operations.

The role also includes ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations, assisting with audits, and generating regular financial reports for management. The individual will collaborate with operations and management teams to provide accurate financial insights and support decision-making.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including bookkeeping, ledger management, bank reconciliation,



and preparation of financial statements.
- Candidates should have minimum of 5 years of work experience in accounts payable and receivable management, invoice processing, vendor and customer account tracking, and cash flow monitoring.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting (e.g., Live Wire, Tally, or similar), along with solid MS Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of relevant tax laws and compliance requirements, including GST, TDS, and statutory reporting for manufacturing and export operations.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical and numerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to identify discrepancies and improve financial processes.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with production, sales, and management teams in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Relevant educational background such as a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA) are an added advantage.
- Prior experience as an Accountant in manufacturing, packaging, or industrial sectors is highly beneficial; familiarity with inventory accounting and costing is a plus.
