Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Academic Counselor role based in Indore.

The Academic

Counselor will guide prospective and current learners through program selection, admission processes, and academic pathways aligned with their career goals. Daily responsibilities include conducting student counseling sessions, explaining program structures and university options, and supporting learners in understanding online and remote learning requirements. The role involves maintaining accurate student records, following up with leads, coordinating with internal teams and partner institutions,



and participating in outreach or information sessions.

The Academic

Counselor will also provide ongoing academic advising, monitor learner progress, and ensure a positive learning experience.

Qualifications

- Counseling skills, including Student Counseling and Career Counseling, to support learners in making informed academic and career decisions.
- Academic Advising and Education-related knowledge to guide learners on program choices, eligibility, and progression.
- Strong Communication skills for one-on-one counseling, presentations, and coordination with internal teams and partner institutions.
- Ability to build rapport with diverse learners, demonstrate empathy, and maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Management, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Prior experience in academic counseling, admissions, or education consulting preferred, especially in an Ed-Tech or higher education environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM tools, with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Comfort working in an on-site setting in Indore and collaborating within a fast-paced, target-oriented workplace.
