- ABAP Development & Customization: Design, develop, test, and maintain custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows to support business requirements across SAP modules.
- SAP Security & Authorization Management: Configure and maintain SAP authorization objects, PFCG roles, user profiles, and access controls to ensure secure and appropriate system access.
- Access Governance & Compliance: Implement and maintain access governance controls, enforce least-privilege principles, identify Segregation of Duties (SoD) conflicts, and support periodic user access reviews.
- SAP Integration & Interfaces: Develop and maintain integrations between SAP systems and external applications using RFC, BAPI, IDoc, OData, REST/SOAP APIs, and SAP middleware where applicable.
- Security Enhancements & Custom Logic: Develop ABAP enhancements, user exits, BAdIs, and authorization checks to support business-specific security requirements and prevent unauthorized access to sensitive data and transactions.
- SAP GRC & Identity Integration: Support integration with SAP GRC Access Control and enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms to streamline user provisioning, role assignments, access approvals, and compliance monitoring.
- Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting: Analyze ABAP code, debug application issues, resolve authorization errors, and optimize program performance using tools such as ST05, SAT, ST22, and STAUTHTRACE.
- Testing, Documentation & Audit Support: Perform unit testing, integration testing, and security validation while maintaining technical documentation and supporting internal and external audits.
- Experience:



4–8 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development, SAP Security, or SAP Access Governance, with practical experience integrating ABAP solutions with SAP authorization and access control frameworks.

- Technical Mastery:
- Strong proficiency in SAP ABAP programming, including Reports, ALV, Internal Tables, Open SQL, Function Modules, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Framework.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Security and Authorization Management, including authorization objects, PFCG roles, SU24, SU01, and user access administration.
- Strong understanding of SAP authorization concepts, role design, access provisioning, Segregation of Duties (SoD), and least-privilege principles.
- Experience working with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP Fiori, and related SAP application architectures.
- Familiarity with SAP authorization troubleshooting tools, including SU53, ST01, STAUTHTRACE, and relevant debugging utilities.
- Knowledge of SAP GRC Access Control, including access risk analysis, access request management, emergency access management, and user access reviews.
- Understanding of SAP integration technologies, including RFC, BAPI, IDoc, OData, REST/SOAP APIs, and SAP Gateway services.

- Integration & Identity Skills: Experience integrating SAP applications with IAM/Identity Provider platforms such as Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Okta, or Ping Identity. Familiarity with SAML 2.0,



OAuth 2.0, and SCIM is an advantage.
- Development & Security Logic: Ability to develop custom authorization checks and security enhancements using ABAP. Familiarity with CDS access controls (DCL), SAP Fiori authorization concepts, and SAP BTP security is desirable.

Good-to-Have Skills

- Experience with SAP GRC Access Control or Process Control implementation and support.
- Exposure to SAP ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, and performance optimization techniques.
- Experience with SAP Fiori Launchpad configuration, OData services, and Gateway authorization.
- Familiarity with Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC), policy-based authorization, and modern Zero Trust security concepts.
- Industry certifications such as SAP Certified Associate, CISM, CISSP, or other relevant SAP Security certifications.
- Exposure to SAP Cloud Identity Services, Identity Authentication (IAS), Identity Provisioning (IPS), and SAP BTP security services.
