Job Description

- Draft, review, and respond to legal notices, consumer complaints, pre-litigation claims, regulatory inspections, and law enforcement inquiries.
- Manage end-to-end litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution matters in coordination with external advocates and law firms.
- Provide legal and risk-mitigation advice to cross-functional teams including Customer Support, Operations, and Logistics.
- Handle consumer protection, civil and commercial litigation matters, ensuring compliance with applicable legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Prepare legal strategies, conduct research, and ensure timely management of court, regulatory, and compliance-related deadlines.
- Liaise with statutory authorities and regulators, with exposure to consumer disputes, commercial litigation, trademark/IP matters, and regulatory investigations being an added advantage.




- Additional Plus Points -- Prior experience in handling consumer disputes, trademark/IP claims, or commercial litigation for B2B or B2C consumer brands. -- Familiarity with handling notices, inspection notices and inquiries from statutory bodies, Cyber Cells, Legal Meteorology authorities, or FSSAI.

The Successful Applicant

- profiles with some experience in Regulatory/Litigation within the FMCG, FSSAI/ Food, Legal Meteorology, or e-Commerce/ retail business space. While the aforesaid experience is more suitable, profiles in Merchandise, such as Clothing, Footwear, Personal Care brands, work too.
