Rays Education is looking for a motivated Academic Counsellor to guide students regarding courses, career opportunities, and admissions. The candidate will handle student enquiries, provide course information, and support the admission process.
Responsibilities:
Counsel students regarding courses and career opportunities.
Explain course details, fees, eligibility, and admission procedures.
Handle student enquiries through phone calls and other communication channels.
Follow up with students and parents regarding admissions.
Understand students' needs and suggest suitable courses.
Convert enquiries into admissions through effective counselling.
Maintain student enquiry records and update admission details.
Coordinate with the academic and admission teams.
Inform students about current courses, programmes, and admission updates.
Achieve admission targets set by the management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong counselling and convincing skills.
Basic computer knowledge and MS Office skills.
Ability to handle calls and follow up with students.
Valuable organisational and time-management skills.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Calicut, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
