We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer with 6–8 years of experience in backend development, specializing in Node.js and MongoDB. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in server-side programming, API development, database design, and performance optimization.

The candidate will be responsible for building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems, developing efficient APIs, optimizing database operations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js and Express.js.
- Develop, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Design, implement, and optimize MongoDB databases, schemas, indexes, and queries.
- Write clean, reusable, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and database efficiency.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues.
- Implement effective error handling, logging, and monitoring mechanisms.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and product managers.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Use Git for version control and participate in CI/CD and deployment processes.
- Work with cloud platforms to deploy and maintain backend applications.
- Participate in system design discussions and technical decision-making.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance when required.





Required Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6–8 years of professional experience in backend development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and Express.js.
- Extensive knowledge of MongoDB, including schema design, aggregation pipelines, indexing, and query optimization.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Valuable understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and non-blocking I/O.
- Experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT and OAuth.
- Knowledge of database performance tuning and data modeling.
- Familiarity with Redis, caching strategies, and message queues.
- Experience with Git and version control systems.
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Understanding of backend architecture, application security, and data protection.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.
- Experience with application monitoring, logging, and performance profiling.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience developing high-performance applications that handle large volumes of data.
- Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to technical decisions.

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
