The Vein Center is looking for a Swahili-speaking Patient Coordinator to support patients in Tanzania from our corporate office in Navi Mumbai.

You will speak with prospective patients who have enquired about our services, arrange appointments and coordinate follow-up with our Mumbai team and partner hospitals in Tanzania.

The role combines patient coordination, confident telephone communication and ethical sales skills. We are looking for someone who can build trust, listen patiently and help interested patients take the next step without pressure or promises of clinical outcomes.

Key responsibilities

- Call prospective patients in Tanzania who have enquired about our services.
- Explain appointment arrangements, consultation charges and administrative steps using information approved by the clinical team.
- Book and confirm appointments, send reminders and follow up with patients who miss appointments.
- Follow up on enquiries and help interested patients progress towards consultations and doctor-prescribed treatment while respecting their decisions.
- Coordinate communication between patients, the Mumbai team and partner hospitals in Tanzania.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, enquiries, appointments and follow-up actions in spreadsheets or a CRM.
- Recognise language or cultural concerns and communicate them clearly to the team.




- Handle patient information confidentially and refer medical questions to the doctors.

Essential requirements

- Fluent spoken and written Tanzanian Swahili and English.
- Strong understanding of Tanzanian cultural sensitivities, communication styles and patient expectations.
- Confident, clear telephone communication with a patient and empathetic approach.
- A flair for sales and the ability to follow up consistently and respectfully.
- Valuable organisation, attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
- Comfortable using WhatsApp, email, spreadsheets and a CRM or lead-tracking system.
- Willingness and ability to work from our corporate office in Navi Mumbai, India.

Preferred background and experience

- A Tanzanian background is preferred. We also welcome candidates from other backgrounds who are fluent in Tanzanian Swahili and have strong knowledge of Tanzanian culture.
- Previous experience in healthcare, hospital coordination, patient services, telesales or customer service.
- Experience handling patient enquiries, booking appointments or following up on telephone leads.
- Familiarity with Dar es Salaam’s geography, neighbourhoods and travel distances.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
