Hostelwala is looking for a responsible, disciplined, and dedicated Hostel Warden to manage day-to-day hostel operations, maintain discipline, ensure student safety, and provide a comfortable living environment for students.

The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, a problem-solving attitude, and the ability to handle hostel residents and daily operational activities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the hostel and ensure smooth functioning.
- Maintain discipline, safety, cleanliness, and hygiene within the hostel premises.
- Monitor student attendance, entry and exit records, and hostel timings.
- Maintain accurate records of students, room allocations, check-ins, and check-outs.
- Coordinate with students regarding hostel rules, complaints, and daily requirements.
- Supervise housekeeping staff and ensure proper cleaning of rooms and common areas.
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate for timely resolution.
- Assist with student room allotments, room shifting, and admission-related activities.
- Coordinate with the counsellors and management regarding student admissions, fee payments, and leaving students.
- Ensure timely reporting of student departures and new joinings.
- Handle student concerns professionally and escalate serious issues to management.




- Prepare daily reports and update student information in the hostel management application.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and hostel rules.

Requirements

- Minimum 12th pass; graduation preferred.
- 0–3 years of experience in hostel management, facility management, or a similar role.
- Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to maintain records.
- Strong organizational, monitoring, and problem-solving skills.
- Responsible, punctual, disciplined, and capable of handling students.
- Willingness to work as per hostel operational requirements.

Preferred Candidate

- Candidates with prior hostel, PG, residential facility, or student accommodation management experience.
- Candidates who can manage responsibilities independently and coordinate effectively with the management team.
