Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with strong technical knowledge of electrical system design for Pharmaceutical, Industrial, and MEP projects.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in electrical design calculations, AutoCAD drawings, HT/LT distribution systems, SLD preparation, equipment sizing, and BOQ estimation.

Key Responsibilities

- Design HT/LT electrical distribution systems and prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLDs).
- Perform electrical load calculations, cable sizing, voltage drop calculations, and cable routing.
- Prepare electrical layouts, power distribution drawings, and substation layouts.
- Perform transformer, DG set, UPS, and electrical panel sizing.
- Design lighting layouts and perform lux level calculations.
- Prepare cable tray layouts, earthing, and lightning protection designs.
- Work on power factor correction and electrical system optimization.
- Prepare BOQs, material take-offs, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and project stakeholders.




- Ensure compliance with applicable IS/IEC standards and electrical safety requirements.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Relevant hands-on experience in Electrical Design Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of HT/LT systems, SLDs, cable sizing, load calculations, and equipment sizing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel.
- Experience in BOQ preparation and technical documentation.
- Positive understanding of electrical design standards and engineering practices.
