About the Role

Zodiac Tech is looking for a creative and technically skilled AutoCAD Designer & 3D Visualizer who can transform 2D architectural drawings, floor plans, plot layouts, and apartment maps into detailed 3D models and interactive experiences that users can explore directly through a web browser.

We are looking for someone who understands architectural layouts, plotting systems, apartment plans, and building structures, and who is excited to use modern AI tools to make the design and visualization process faster and more efficient.

The role goes beyond traditional AutoCAD drafting. You will work on converting 2D drawings into 3D environments, creating architectural visualizations, and exploring ways to make these models interactive and accessible on websites.

We welcome freshers who have a good foundation in AutoCAD and architecture-related concepts. If you are a quick learner, comfortable experimenting with new software, and enthusiastic about AI-powered design, this could be an excellent opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities1. AutoCAD Design and 2D Drawing

- Work with 2D architectural drawings, floor plans, apartment layouts, building plans, and plot maps.
- Understand and interpret existing CAD drawings, dimensions, measurements, layouts, and architectural details.
- Create, edit, and organize technical drawings using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
- Review 2D layouts to understand room dimensions, walls, doors, windows, building structures, and other architectural elements.
- Maintain dimensional accuracy and consistency while converting drawings into 3D models.
- Make necessary corrections and modifications to drawings based on project requirements.

2. Convert 2D Drawings into 3D Models

- Convert 2D floor plans, plot layouts, apartment drawings, and architectural maps into detailed 3D models.
- Create 3D representations of apartments, residential buildings, commercial spaces, plots, and other architectural structures.
- Use software such as Blender, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, or other suitable 3D modeling tools.
- Develop accurate spatial layouts based on existing 2D drawings.
- Add walls, doors, windows, furniture, structural elements, and other objects where required.
- Improve the visual quality of models using suitable materials, textures, lighting, and rendering techniques.
- Ensure the resulting 3D models accurately represent the original architectural drawings.

3. Interactive and Web-Based 3D Visualization

- Help transform static architectural drawings into interactive 3D experiences.
- Create models that users can explore through a web browser without needing to install specialized software.
- Enable features such as rotating, zooming, viewing from different angles, and navigating through 3D spaces.
- Explore methods for creating interactive apartment layouts, property visualizations, and explorable 3D environments.
- Work with suitable tools and technologies such as Three.js, WebGL, browser-based 3D viewers,



or other relevant platforms.
- Optimize 3D models and assets to ensure smooth loading and performance on websites.
- Explore ways to turn 2D maps and layouts into explorable 3D worlds.

4. AI-Powered Design and Visualization

We want someone who is comfortable using AI to improve productivity and experiment with new creative possibilities.

Your responsibilities may include:

- Using AI tools to generate architectural concepts, reference images, textures, visual assets, and design ideas.
- Exploring AI-powered image generation, video generation, and 3D asset creation.
- Using ChatGPT, Claude, Google Gemini, and other AI assistants to solve technical problems, generate scripts, and improve workflows.
- Writing effective AI prompts to accelerate modeling, visualization, coding, and content creation.
- Using AI coding assistants to develop or troubleshoot interactive 3D elements when required.
- Researching new AI tools that can help convert 2D plans into 3D models or create interactive digital environments.
- Combining traditional design software with AI tools to complete projects faster without compromising accuracy.
- Experimenting with new software and techniques to improve the quality of architectural visualizations.

Important: You do not need to be an expert in every AI tool. We value candidates who are curious, willing to learn, and capable of using AI practically to solve problems.

Required Skills and QualificationsEssential Skills

- Working knowledge of AutoCAD or another comparable CAD tool.
- Basic understanding of architectural drawings, floor plans, building layouts, apartment systems, and plotting.
- Ability to interpret dimensions, measurements, and spatial arrangements from 2D drawings.
- Familiarity with at least one 3D modeling tool, or the willingness to learn one quickly.
- Basic understanding of AI tools and their practical applications in design or visualization.
- Ability to follow instructions, solve problems independently, and meet project deadlines.
- Good attention to detail and a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Own laptop or computer capable of running AutoCAD and relevant 3D software.
- Reliable internet connection and the ability to work independently from home.

Preferred Skills

Candidates with any of the following skills will have an advantage:

- Blender, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, or similar 3D modeling software.
- Architectural rendering and visualization.
- 3D walkthroughs and virtual property tours.
- Three.js, WebGL, or other browser-based 3D technologies.
- Basic HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or scripting knowledge.
- AI-powered image and video generation.
- AI coding assistants such as Claude and Gemini.
- Knowledge of 3D model formats such as GLB, GLTF, FBX, OBJ, or STL.
- Experience optimizing 3D assets for websites and interactive applications.

These additional skills are preferred, not mandatory for entry-level applicants.
