About AASA BY SIMRAN
AASA BY SIMRAN is a premium women's fashion brand creating versatile, thoughtfully designed garments that combine contemporary style with distinctive silhouettes. Our collections include Indo-Western, Western and Indian wear, with a focus on innovative designs, signature pleated fabrics and versatile styling.
We are looking for a proactive, creative and highly organised Social Media Manager & Digital Content Lead who can independently manage our social media presence, content execution, digital communication and day-to-day online brand presentation.
This is not just a posting or content-scheduling role. We need someone who can take ownership, work independently, maintain high standards and ensure that every digital touchpoint reflects the brand's premium positioning.
Key Responsibilities1. Social Media Management
- Independently manage the brand's Instagram and Facebook accounts, along with other relevant platforms.
- Plan, schedule and publish reels, posts, carousels, stories and campaign content according to the content calendar.
- Maintain consistent brand communication, visual quality and posting schedules.
- Ensure that all agreed platforms remain active, updated and professionally presented.
- Monitor comments, messages, tags, mentions, reposts and audience interactions.
- Ensure that no customer enquiry, collaboration message or business opportunity is overlooked.
2. Content Planning and Creative Execution
- Develop monthly and weekly content calendars aligned with product launches, campaigns, sales and brand goals.
- Generate creative reel concepts, hooks, captions, story ideas and audience-engagement initiatives.
- Create artwork, promotional graphics, campaign creatives and social media designs.
- Plan and execute product shoots, styling shoots, behind-the-scenes content and founder-led content.
- Coordinate shoot requirements, outfits, accessories, props, models and timelines.
- Capture and create engaging content using a mobile phone or camera and handle basic reel editing, where required.
- Ensure that content is delivered on time and meets the brand's premium aesthetic.
3. Instagram, Facebook and Digital Enquiries
- Monitor and respond to comments, DMs and enquiries within agreed response timelines.
- Identify genuine purchase enquiries and collaboration opportunities.
- Follow up on relevant leads and coordinate with the sales team to ensure timely handover and closure.
- Track unanswered messages, pending follow-ups and potential customers.
- Escalate pricing, order,
delivery or customer-service issues to the appropriate team member.
- Support lead generation and improve engagement that can contribute to business growth.
4. Website and E-commerce Coordination
- Upload product listings on the website within agreed timelines.
- Ensure product names, descriptions, images, prices, variants and other details are accurate.
- Coordinate website banners, homepage visuals, campaign pages and promotional updates.
- Ensure that launches, offers and product availability are reflected correctly online.
- Check the website regularly on mobile and desktop for presentation issues, broken links and incorrect information.
- Coordinate with the relevant team or technical partner to resolve website issues promptly.
5. Brand Collaborations and Business Opportunities
- Monitor and respond to collaboration requests, influencer enquiries, stylist requests and other relevant business opportunities.
- Maintain a tracker of incoming opportunities, communication, follow-ups and outcomes.
- Coordinate with the founder before confirming commercial terms, gifting commitments or partnerships.
- Help identify relevant creators, influencers and content opportunities aligned with the brand's premium positioning.
6. Performance Tracking and Reporting
- Track reach, engagement, shares, saves, profile visits, follower growth and content performance.
- Identify which products, reels, formats and campaigns are generating meaningful audience interest.
- Share insights and recommendations for future content, product promotion and campaigns.
- Maintain daily task trackers and weekly performance reports.
- Submit an end-of-day report covering completed work, pending tasks, enquiries requiring attention, blockers and the next day's priorities.
- Take responsibility for deadlines and flag delays before they affect launches or campaigns.
What We Are Looking For
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in social media management, preferably with a fashion, lifestyle, beauty or premium D2C brand.
- Solid understanding of Instagram content, reels, stories, audience engagement and current social media formats.
- Practical experience creating content, designing graphics and coordinating or executing shoots.
- Familiarity with Canva and video-editing tools such as CapCut or equivalent tools.
- Experience with Shopify or another e-commerce platform is strongly preferred.
- Excellent written communication,
caption-writing and creative-thinking skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative and maintain clear reports without constant supervision.
- A portfolio or examples of social media accounts, content or campaigns personally managed.
What Success Looks Like in This Role
The right candidate will:
- Keep all agreed social media platforms updated and professionally managed.
- Ensure that content, artwork, shoots and website updates are completed on schedule.
- Keep the inbox organised and ensure that enquiries and opportunities receive timely attention.
- Maintain accurate trackers and provide regular performance reports.
- Bring new content ideas and practical recommendations instead of waiting for instructions for every task.
- Understand that social media is not only about aesthetics; it must also support brand visibility, customer engagement and business growth.
Working Expectations
This is a full-time, on-site role requiring approximately nine working hours per day. The candidate must be comfortable taking end-to-end responsibility for assigned tasks, coordinating with the internal team and meeting agreed deadlines.
Important: We are looking for someone who can take charge of the function—not someone whose role is limited to uploading posts or forwarding messages.
