About the Role

Free Press Journal is looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor & Motion Graphics Specialist with strong expertise in video editing, motion graphics, colour grading, and live multi-camera switching. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for visual storytelling, a strong understanding of digital media content, and the ability to deliver high-quality video content within tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit video content for news, interviews, podcasts, panel discussions, social media, and digital platforms.
- Create engaging motion graphics, animated titles, lower thirds, transitions, and visual effects.
- Perform professional colour correction and colour grading to ensure consistent visual quality.
- Operate and manage live three-camera switching for interviews, discussions, studio recordings, and live productions.
- Work with the editorial and production teams to develop compelling visual stories.
- Ensure high-quality audio-video synchronisation, clean transitions, and qualified output.
- Optimise videos for digital platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and other social media channels.
- Manage multiple projects efficiently while meeting deadlines.
- Maintain organised project files, media assets, and editing workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in video editing, motion graphics, and video production.
- Adobe Premiere Pro:



Strong proficiency in professional video editing.
- Adobe After Effects: Expertise in motion graphics, animation, compositing, and visual effects.
- Adobe Illustrator: Proficiency in creating graphic assets, titles, and visual elements for video content.
- Colour Grading: Strong knowledge of colour correction, colour matching, and cinematic colour grading.
- Live Production: Hands-on experience with three-camera live switching and multi-camera production workflows.
- Audio & Video: Good understanding of audio mixing, sound synchronisation, lighting basics, and video formats.
- Communication: Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple assignments, and meet tight deadlines.
- A creative mindset, attention to detail, and a strong sense of visual storytelling.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with a news organisation, media house, digital newsroom, or production studio.
- Familiarity with live streaming, studio production, and broadcast workflows.
- Understanding of social media video formats, audience engagement, and digital content trends.
