Patent Engineer / Patent Attorney – Engineering & Mechanical

Key Responsibilities

- Draft and prosecute patent applications before the Indian Patent Office.
- Conduct patentability assessments and provide IP support for engineering and mechanical inventions.
- Work closely with inventors and clients to understand innovations and develop appropriate IP protection strategies.
- Prepare responses to examination reports, office actions and other prosecution-related communications.
- Independently manage patent matters and client interactions.
- Conduct prior-art searches and analyse technical and patent documents.

Key Requirements

- 4–6 years of experience in patent drafting and prosecution.




- Strong experience in Engineering and Mechanical domains.
- Registered Indian Patent Agent – mandatory.
- Ability to independently handle drafting, prosecution and client interactions.
- Robust understanding of Indian patent law and prosecution procedures.
- Excellent analytical, technical writing and communication skills.

Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech in Engineering – mandatory.
- LL.B./LL.M. preferred, but not mandatory.
- Registered Indian Patent Agent.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
