About the Role

The Free Press Journal is looking for a dynamic and creative Video Publisher with a strong understanding of social media platforms, excellent writing skills, and a keen sense of news. The ideal candidate will be responsible for publishing video content across digital platforms, drafting engaging captions, curating relevant content, and managing the publishing calendar.

Key Responsibilities

- Publish and manage video content across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and X (Twitter).
- Write engaging captions, headlines, descriptions, and social media copy to drive audience engagement.
- Demonstrate a strong news sense and identify trending topics, newsworthy stories, and relevant content.
- Create, curate, and adapt content for different social media platforms.
- Manage and maintain the social media publishing calendar to ensure timely and consistent content delivery.
- Coordinate with editorial, video, and social media teams to ensure smooth publishing workflows.
- Monitor content performance and stay updated on emerging digital trends and platform best practices.
- Ensure accuracy, quality,



and adherence to editorial guidelines before publishing.

Requirements

- 1–2 years of experience in video publishing, digital media, social media management, or a related role.
- Good working knowledge of YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and X (Twitter).
- Excellent writing, editing, and caption-drafting skills.
- Strong news sense and an understanding of current affairs and digital media trends.
- Ability to create and curate engaging content for diverse online audiences.
- Experience in managing content calendars and meeting publishing deadlines.
- A cooperative attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to work in a quick-paced newsroom environment.

A proactive, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic professional who understands the digital news ecosystem, enjoys working with video content, and can contribute to growing the brand's social media presence.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
