Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Performance Analysis

- Examine revenue distribution across products, services, business segments, or other relevant categories.
- Analyse the cost of goods sold (COGS) and assess its relationship with revenue and gross profitability.
- Review operating expenses, administrative expenses, and other expenditure categories.
- Analyse tax expenses and their impact on the client's overall financial performance.
- Evaluate gross profit, operating profit, net profit, and relevant profitability ratios.
2. Inventory & Turnover Analysis
- Calculate and analyse inventory turnover ratios and inventory holding periods.
- Perform receivables turnover, payables turnover, and other relevant working capital analyses.
- Evaluate the efficiency of inventory management and working capital utilisation.
- Identify unusual movements, potential inefficiencies, and areas requiring further investigation.
3. Financial Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare financial analysis reports using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Develop financial summaries, analytical tables, charts, and management presentations.
- Present key financial observations, performance trends, and potential areas of concern in a clear and structured manner.
- Maintain accuracy, consistency, and proper documentation of calculations and findings.
4. Research & Analytical Support
- Assist in identifying financial trends, cost inefficiencies, and opportunities for business improvement.
- Use AI-enabled tools to support research, data organisation, analysis, and report preparation, while independently validating outputs.
- Coordinate with team members to complete assignments within agreed timelines.
- Incorporate feedback and continuously improve the quality of analytical deliverables.

Experience
- Freshers with sound foundational knowledge of accounting and finance are eligible.
- At least one year of experience in the accounting or finance department of a corporate organisation will be an added advantage.
