Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Design Engineer with 1–4 years of experience in mechanical design, sheet metal design, and vehicle structures. The candidate will be responsible for preparing 2D drawings, developing 3D models, creating manufacturing drawings, and supporting the design and development of automotive structures, tippers, trailers, and fabricated components.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and modify 2D drawings using AutoCAD and 3D models using PTC Creo.
- Design sheet metal components, structural parts, and mechanical assemblies.
- Prepare detailed manufacturing and fabrication drawings with dimensions and tolerances.
- Develop designs for vehicle structures, tippers, trailers, and related components.
- Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOMs) and engineering documentation.
- Coordinate with production, fabrication, and quality teams to resolve design-related issues.
- Incorporate design changes based on manufacturing requirements and customer feedback.




- Ensure designs meet engineering standards and manufacturing feasibility requirements.

Required Technical Skills

- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and PTC Creo.
- Valuable understanding of 2D drafting, 3D modelling, and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of sheet metal design, structural design, and fabrication processes.
- Understanding of dimensions, tolerances, and basic manufacturing processes.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and coordinate with shop-floor teams.

Candidate Profile

- 1–4 years of relevant experience in mechanical design engineering.
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in sheet metal, fabrication, automotive components, or vehicle structures is preferred.
- Good problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with design and manufacturing teams.
