Role Overview

We are looking for an AI and Search Specialist to own Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) for Linkfields' content and product surfaces.

The role ensures Linkfields' content is accurately structured, retrievable and citable across AI-driven answer engines and chat assistants (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and similar), in addition to traditional search.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and own the AEO/GEO strategy for Linkfields' content and product surfaces.

Structure content, metadata and schema markup for optimal retrieval and citation by LLMs.

Monitor and benchmark brand and product visibility across AI answer engines and traditional search.

Partner with the Prompt and Content Governance Analyst and engineering teams to align on structured content pipelines.

Run experiments and audits on how content is surfaced, summarized and cited by LLMs.

Report on visibility, citation and traffic metrics to stakeholders.





Recommend content and technical changes to improve discoverability in AI-driven channels.

Must-Have Skills

5+ years of hands-on SEO experience, with recent focus extending into AEO/GEO.

Working understanding of how LLMs retrieve, rank and cite content (RAG, embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation).

Experience implementing schema.org / structured data markup.

Strong skills in structuring content for machine readability.

Proficiency with analytics tooling (GA4, Search Console or equivalent).

Strong written communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Positive to Have

Exposure to vector search / RAG pipelines.

Prompt engineering experience.

Technical SEO or developer background.

Experience with enterprise or SaaS content strategy.
