Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Service Manager – Material Handling Equipment to manage service operations, lead field service engineers and technicians, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with electric forklifts and warehouse equipment, along with expertise in preventive maintenance, breakdown servicing, team management, and after-sales support.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily service operations, including installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and breakdown servicing of material handling equipment.
- Lead and supervise service engineers and technicians to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
- Plan service calls, allocate field visits, and monitor equipment performance and downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical issues in electric forklifts, reach trucks, pallet trucks, and stackers.
- Handle customer complaints, breakdown escalations, and technical issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with customers, OEMs, and internal teams for technical support, warranty claims, and spare parts requirements.
- Identify opportunities for Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC), spare parts sales, and after-sales service revenue.
- Monitor service KPIs, technician productivity, response time,



equipment uptime, and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain service reports, maintenance records, warranty documentation, and performance reports.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines, safety standards, and service procedures.
- Travel across Mumbai and nearby locations for customer visits and service-related requirements.

Candidate Requirements

- Graduate in any discipline: a technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering/Diploma will be preferred.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in MHE servicing and service operations.
- Strong hands-on experience with electric forklifts, reach trucks, pallet trucks, stackers, or similar warehouse equipment.
- Experience in managing service engineers, technicians, and field service operations.
- Good knowledge of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Experience in preventive maintenance, breakdown troubleshooting, spare parts, AMC management, and warranty processes.
- Solid customer relationship management, team leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/service management software.
- Willingness to travel across Mumbai and nearby locations.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
