Job Summary

Anemo Prime Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and technically proficient Engineering Manager – HVAC Design to lead its HVAC engineering team. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in HVAC system design, AutoCAD, engineering calculations, drawing coordination, and team management.

The candidate will be responsible for overseeing design activities, reviewing technical drawings and calculations, coordinating with project stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery of accurate, execution-ready drawings.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage a team of 10–15 HVAC engineers and draughtsmen.
- Prepare and review HVAC layouts, shop drawings, detailed engineering drawings, and coordinated drawings based on actual site conditions.
- Oversee the design and detailing of VRV/VRF systems, chilled water systems, ducting, and piping.
- Perform and verify heat load calculations, airflow calculations, duct sizing, pipe sizing, pressure drop calculations, and HVAC equipment selection.
- Review engineering drawings, technical calculations, and equipment specifications before submission and execution.
- Coordinate with project teams, clients, consultants, and other service departments to resolve design and site-related issues.
- Plan drawing submissions, allocate tasks, monitor team productivity, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Ensure technical accuracy, design feasibility,



and compliance with project specifications and applicable HVAC standards.
- Provide technical guidance to team members and support project teams during installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
- Identify design discrepancies and implement corrective actions to minimize site rework.

Required Skills and Competencies

- Excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD and HVAC drawing preparation.
- Strong understanding of HVAC system design, equipment selection, and installation practices.
- Proficiency in HVAC calculations, including heat load, airflow, duct sizing, pipe sizing, and pressure drop.
- Experience in reviewing and approving engineering drawings and technical submissions.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team of 10–15 engineers and draughtsmen.
- Strong technical problem-solving, planning, and coordination skills.
- Good communication and team leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of relevant HVAC standards and codes, including ASHRAE, ISHRAE, and NBC.

Experience Requirements

- 5–10 years of relevant experience in HVAC design and engineering.
- Demonstrated experience in handling HVAC design projects and managing engineering teams.
- Practical understanding of site execution requirements and coordination between design and project teams.
