We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. The candidate will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and validation of mechanical systems and components for railway products. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in electromechanical assemblies and precision mechanical design for railway or industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Product Design: Design and develop mechanical systems and components for railway products such as Master Controllers, Earthing Switches for VCBs, and other related equipment.
- CAD Modeling: Create and review 3D models, 2D drawings, and BOMs using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Electrical, R&D;, and Production teams to ensure smooth integration of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Analysis & Validation: Perform tolerance analysis, material selection, and design validation as per industry and railway standards.
- Prototyping: Support prototype development, assembly, and testing of mechanical sub-systems.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for fabrication, machining,



and quality assurance of mechanical parts.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation, drawings, and design reports.
- On-Site Support: Provide in office technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning when required.

Qualifications & Experience

- Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (M.E./M.Tech preferred).
- Experience: 8–10 years of relevant experience in mechanical design and development for railway or heavy engineering products.
- Niche Knowledge: Hands-on experience with railway components like Master Controllers, Earthing Switches for VCBs, Driver Desk Assemblies, or similar products is a major advantage.
- Software Proficiency: Mastery of 3D/2D CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, etc.).
- Technical Skills: Good understanding of manufacturing processes, GD&T;, and material specifications.
- Standards: Familiarity with Indian Railway standards (RDSO, ICF, CLW, DLW) is desirable.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Pay: ₹680,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
