We are looking for a qualified and experienced Financial Analyst / Statutory Compliance Officer to manage financial reporting, analysis, statutory compliance, and key finance operations. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.

The candidate will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, effective financial controls, and providing meaningful financial insights to support business growth and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

- Lead the preparation, review, and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare management reports, financial dashboards, and MIS for senior management and the Board of Directors.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure smooth business operations.

Statutory Compliance & Taxation

- Ensure timely and accurate statutory filings and compliance with applicable financial and tax regulations.
- Oversee direct and indirect tax compliance, including preparation and timely filing of returns.
- Monitor changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements and ensure appropriate implementation.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for statutory and regulatory compliance.




- Coordinate with tax consultants, statutory authorities, and other external professionals as required.

Audit & Internal Controls

- Coordinate with external and internal auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.
- Prepare audit schedules, supporting documents, and responses to audit queries.
- Develop, implement, and monitor internal financial controls and processes.
- Identify financial and compliance risks and recommend appropriate corrective measures.
- Ensure company assets and financial information are adequately safeguarded.

Financial Analysis & Business Support

- Conduct financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve profitability.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for business decisions.
- Analyze budgets versus actuals and investigate significant variances.
- Support management in evaluating financial implications of business initiatives and investments.

Team Management

- Lead, mentor, and guide the finance team to ensure effective execution of finance and compliance activities.
- Establish clear processes, timelines, and accountability within the finance function.

Qualifications & Experience

- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, financial analysis, taxation, audit, or statutory compliance.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a managerial/supervisory role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and statutory compliance.
- Good understanding of applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial/accounting software or ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet statutory deadlines.
