About Beige Design Studio
Beige Design Studio is a design-led interior design company based in Bengaluru, specialising in thoughtfully designed residential and commercial spaces. We believe in quality over quantity, attention to detail, and creating interiors that reflect the personality and lifestyle of each client.
We are looking for a Senior Interior Designer who can take ownership of projects from concept to handover, lead the design process, manage client relationships, and ensure that every project meets Beige's design standards and execution quality.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design & Concept Development
Develop creative, functional, and aesthetically refined interior design concepts aligned with client requirements and budgets.
Stay updated with current interior design trends, materials, finishes, and market standards while maintaining timeless design principles.
Prepare mood boards, material palettes, furniture layouts, and detailed design presentations.
Create innovative design solutions that balance aesthetics, functionality, and cost efficiency.
2. Technical Drawings & Visualisation
Prepare and review detailed 2D drawings, including furniture layouts, electrical layouts, false ceiling plans, elevations, and working drawings.
Develop or coordinate high-quality 3D renders and presentations to communicate design intent.
Ensure all drawings and specifications are accurate, practical, and ready for execution.
Coordinate with the 2D and 3D design team to maintain consistency across project deliverables.
3. Client Management
Lead client meetings, understand requirements, present design concepts, and incorporate feedback.
Communicate design decisions, timelines, budgets, and project updates professionally.
Build strong client relationships and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Guide clients on materials, finishes, furniture, and design selections.
4. Project Execution & Coordination
Take ownership of projects from initial consultation and concept development through design finalisation, execution, and handover.
Coordinate with site teams, vendors, contractors, procurement, and internal departments.
Conduct regular site visits to ensure designs are implemented as approved.
Resolve on-site design challenges and ensure quality, detailing, and finishing standards are maintained.
Identify potential execution issues early and take proactive steps to minimise delays and rework.
5. Budgeting & Material Selection
Develop design solutions that align with the approved project budget.
Understand material costs, hardware, finishes, furniture, and other interior specifications.
Coordinate with procurement and vendors to ensure the right materials are sourced within budget and timelines.
Monitor design changes and ensure they are evaluated for cost and execution impact.
6. Team Leadership & Ownership
Mentor and guide junior designers, review their work, and maintain design quality.
Allocate and monitor design deliverables to ensure projects progress as planned.
Take accountability for project timelines, drawing accuracy, design quality, and client satisfaction.
Work collaboratively with management and other teams to improve design processes and overall project delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
4–7 years of relevant experience in residential interior design, preferably with end-to-end project exposure.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D visualisation tools such as SketchUp, Enscape, V-Ray, or equivalent software.
Excellent knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and interior execution.
Strong understanding of working drawings, site coordination, budgeting, and project management.
Excellent communication, presentation, and client-handling skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to work.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines without compromising design quality.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is more than a designer — someone who can take complete ownership of a project, make sound design decisions, lead a team, and ensure that the final execution reflects the original design intent.
The ideal candidate should:
Have a strong design sensibility and a keen eye for detail.
Be capable of independently managing projects from start to finish.
Understand the balance between premium design, functionality, and budget.
Take initiative, think critically, and offer solutions rather than wait for instructions.
Be comfortable working in a growing, quick-paced design studio.
Align with Beige's philosophy of thoughtful design, quality craftsmanship, and meaningful interiors.
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
Benefits:
- Cell phone reimbursement
- Flexible schedule
- Leave encashment
- Paid sick time
- Paid time off
- Provident Fund
Experience:
