Job Summary

We are a growing IT company specializing in Web Development, Digital Marketing (SEO, PPC, Social Media), and Custom Software Solutions. We are looking for an experienced and proactive Government Tender & GeM Executive to lead our government business acquisition and public sector portal bidding.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in identifying, preparing, and submitting government tenders/RFPs on the GeM Portal (Government e-Marketplace) and Central/State e-Procurement portals, specifically for IT, web development, and digital marketing services. Strong written English and client communication skills are essential to engage with government officials and manage bidding requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- GeM Portal Management: Handle vendor registration, product/service catalog management, L1 bidding, direct purchases, and reverse auctions on the GeM portal.
- Tender Search & Identification: Daily tracking, searching, and filtering of relevant government tenders, RFPs, EOI, and RFQs for Web Development, Software, Digital Marketing, and SEO projects across various government e-procurement portals.
- Proposal & Bid Preparation: Prepare technical and financial bids, compliance sheets, eligibility documents, EMDs, PBGs,



and tender documentation in coordination with technical leads.
- Documentation & Compliance: Ensure error-free uploading of tender documents before deadlines, keeping track of bid opening dates, queries, and addendums.
- Client & Official Communication: Communicate professionally (written and verbal) with government department representatives, nodal officers, and clients regarding tender clarifications, pre-bid queries, and contract awards.
- Vendor & Portal Coordination: Manage portal disputes, order processing, invoice uploads, and follow-ups for payments/vendor clearings on government portals.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Communications, or any relevant discipline.
- Experience: Proven experience (2 to 5+ years) working as a GeM / Tender Executive in an IT or Digital Services organization.
- Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience with GeM Portal, e-Procurement portals (CPPP, State portals, Tenders.gov.in), and procurement tools.
- Domain Awareness: Familiarity with IT services, website development life cycles, SEO, digital marketing, and software service procurement standards.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for formal drafting, pre-bid queries, and client interaction.
- Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail to review complex tender terms, technical specifications, and legal/financial compliance rules.
