Job Description:

The school is seeking a MA/M.Sc. Psychology with B.Ed Psychology Teacher to deliver engaging, inquiry-based instruction in line with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. The role involves developing students’ critical thinking, research, and evaluative skills while fostering ethical awareness and international-mindedness.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging Psychology lessons aligned with the prescribed curriculum.
- Explain psychological concepts, theories, and principles using practical examples and real-life applications.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, worksheets, and examination papers.
- Assess student learning through tests, assignments, projects, and other evaluation methods.
- Prepare students for examinations through revision sessions, practice questions, and doubt-clearing sessions.
- Encourage critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and an understanding of human behaviour.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support academic improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and assessments.
- Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation.




- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental meetings and school activities.

Qualifications

- MA or M.Sc. in Psychology is mandatory.
- B.Ed qualification is mandatory.
- Relevant teaching experience is preferred, particularly at the senior secondary level.
- Experience teaching the CBSE curriculum will be an added advantage.
- Strong subject knowledge in Psychology, including psychological theories, research methods, and human development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
