Job Description – E-commerce Marketplace Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage the accounting and financial operations of our e-commerce marketplace business. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling marketplace transactions, tracking sales and expenses, and ensuring timely accounting entries.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage daily accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, expenses, and payments.
- Reconcile orders, sales settlements, commissions, and fees across Amazon and other e-commerce marketplaces.
- Verify marketplace payments, refunds, customer returns, and deductions.
- Track marketplace fees, shipping charges, advertising expenses, and other operational costs.
- Handle bank reconciliation, vendor payments, and accounts payable/receivable.
- Maintain purchase invoices, sales invoices, GST records, and other financial documents.
- Assist with GST returns, TDS compliance, and other statutory accounting requirements.
- Prepare sales reports, expense statements, profit and loss reports,



and other financial summaries.
- Identify discrepancies in marketplace settlements and coordinate with the relevant teams to resolve them.
- Maintain accurate accounting records using Tally, and Excel

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience in accounting, preferably in an e-commerce or online marketplace business.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, and basic taxation.
- Working knowledge of Tally and Microsoft Excel.
- Understanding of Amazon Seller Central and other e-commerce marketplace settlement reports is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Candidate: Someone who is organized, trustworthy, proactive, and capable of managing marketplace accounting accurately and efficiently.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
