About the Role

JD Pharma Consultants is looking for an experienced HVAC Design Engineer with solid technical expertise in HVAC system design for Pharmaceutical, Cleanroom, and controlled-environment projects.

We are seeking candidates with hands-on experience in HVAC design calculations, equipment selection, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform HVAC heat load calculations and cooling load estimation using HAP, Carrier, or TRACE.
- Design HVAC systems for pharmaceutical facilities, cleanrooms, and controlled environments.
- Prepare AHU selection, duct sizing, duct layouts, airflow calculations, and ventilation designs.
- Develop HVAC drawings, equipment layouts, technical specifications, BOQs, and design documentation.
- Work on cleanroom classification, pressure differentials, air changes per hour (ACH), temperature, and humidity requirements.
- Coordinate with architects, MEP teams, vendors, and project execution teams.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable GMP, ISO 14644, WHO, and pharmaceutical engineering standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.




- 3–10 years of relevant HVAC Design experience.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC design calculations, AHU, ducting, airflow, and equipment selection.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and HVAC design software such as HAP, Carrier, or TRACE.
- Experience in preparing HVAC BOQs, technical specifications, and engineering drawings.
- Good understanding of cleanroom HVAC design and pharmaceutical industry requirements.
- Strong technical coordination and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Experience working with Pharmaceutical Engineering Consultants, Cleanroom Design Companies, HVAC Design Consultants, or MEP Engineering Firms.
- Hands-on involvement in HVAC design rather than only site execution or maintenance.
- Familiarity with GMP-compliant pharmaceutical facilities and cleanroom requirements.
