Experience: 5+ years in security engineering
Employment Type: Full-Time

You will design, build and run the security controls that protect our infrastructure, applications and identities. Where SecOps detects and responds, this role prevents: you engineer the controls and make secure delivery the default path.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement network, cloud, endpoint and identity controls: firewalls, WAF, IDS/IPS, EDR and DLP.
- Secure cloud and container platforms with least-privilege IAM, network policies, secrets management, image scanning and runtime protection.
- Embed security in CI/CD with SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, secret scanning and infrastructure-as-code checks.
- Engineer identity and access: SSO, MFA, RBAC and privileged access management.
- Lead threat modelling and security design reviews with engineering teams.
- Run vulnerability assessments and internal penetration tests, and give developers explicit remediation guidance.
- Manage encryption, PKI, certificates and key management.
- Build the logging and telemetry coverage SecOps relies on, and act as escalation during incidents.
- Automate security controls and checks with code.
- Define and maintain hardening baselines and security engineering standards.
Required skills
- 5+ years in security engineering across infrastructure, cloud or application security.
- Network security: firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet or similar), VPN, segmentation and zero-trust design.
- Cloud security on AWS, Azure or GCP, including IAM, VPC design and native security services.
- Kubernetes and container security: RBAC, network policies, pod security and admission control.
- Application security: OWASP Top 10, API security and tools such as Burp Suite, Semgrep, SonarQube or Snyk.
- Identity protocols: OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and SAML.
- Scripting in Python or Go, and infrastructure as code with Terraform or similar.
- Linux and Windows hardening against CIS benchmarks.
- Cryptography fundamentals: TLS, certificate lifecycle and key management.
- Ability to explain risk and trade-offs clearly to developers.
Good to have
- Certifications: OSCP, CISSP, CCSP, CKS or AWS Security Specialty.
- Policy as code with OPA or Kyverno.
- Secrets platforms such as HashiCorp Vault.
- GitOps-based delivery and securing it end to end.
- Bug bounty, CTF or published security research.
