Location / Travel: Field-based across various project sites in Punjab (Covering regions such as Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Patiala, and surrounding circles)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled, dedicated Electrical Site Supervisor/Engineer to manage and execute electrical installation, testing, and commissioning for substations, transmission lines, and power infrastructure related to tower rollouts across Punjab. The successful candidate will ensure all electrical works are carried out safely, in compliance with state electricity board regulations (such as PSPCL), and according to high engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Electrical Installation & Execution: Supervise on-site installation of electrical equipment, including HT/LT cabling, transformers, switchyards, control panels, earthing systems, and lightning protection for towers.
- Line & Substation Works: Oversee stringing, sagging, and alignment of electrical transmission lines, pole/tower mounting of electrical fittings, and substation yard equipment erection.
- Testing & Commissioning: Conduct pre-commissioning checks, insulation testing, earth resistance measurements, and load testing in coordination with quality and safety teams.
- Safety Compliance (HSE): Strictly enforce electrical safety protocols (Lockout/Tagout - LOTO, use of insulated PPE, safe clearance procedures) to prevent electrical hazards and accidents during live-line or heavy-equipment work.
- Statutory & Board Compliance:



Ensure all installations comply with the Central Electricity Authority (CEA) guidelines, Indian Electricity (IE) rules, and local utility standards.
- Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Track daily execution progress against project schedules, manage site material inventory, and report bottlenecks to the Project Manager.
- Documentation: Maintain daily site logs, test certificates, cable route markers, material consumption sheets, and commissioning documentation.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or Electrical & Electronics).
- Experience: Minimum 1+ years of hands-on site execution experience in electrical power distribution, substation construction, HT/LT transmission lines, or electrical infrastructure for tower sites.
- Technical Proficiency: Robust understanding of electrical schematics, single-line diagrams (SLDs), equipment specifications, and safety guidelines.
- Computer Skills: Comfortable using MS Office (Excel, Word) for inventory tracking and reporting, alongside digital site-monitoring tools.
- Communication & Language Skills: Professional proficiency in English, Punjabi, and Hindi to coordinate effectively with local contractors, labour teams, and power utility officials.
- Mobility: Valid driving license and flexibility to travel across various project locations in Punjab.
