MRI/CT Scan Technologist

Job Summary

Mardamed Healthcare is seeking a skilled and patient-focused MRI/CT Scan Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality. The role requires sound technical knowledge, careful adherence to imaging protocols, and effective coordination with radiologists, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform MRI and CT examinations in accordance with approved protocols and the referring clinician’s request.

· Verify patient identity, clinical history, examination requirements, contraindications, and required consent before imaging.

· Screen patients thoroughly for MRI safety risks, including implants, devices, metallic objects, and other contraindications.

· Prepare and position patients correctly to obtain diagnostic-quality images while minimising discomfort and repeat scans.

· Operate MRI and CT equipment safely, select appropriate technical parameters, and monitor image quality throughout each study.

· Assist with contrast-enhanced examinations as authorised,



following prescribed protocols and monitoring patients for adverse reactions.

· Follow radiation-safety principles for CT examinations and maintain MRI-zone safety at all times.

· Recognise urgent patient conditions or unexpected findings and promptly escalate them to the radiologist or responsible clinician.

· Maintain accurate patient, procedure, contrast, and equipment records in the relevant systems and registers.

· Carry out routine equipment checks, report faults promptly, and coordinate with service personnel when required.

· Ensure infection-control, biomedical-waste, emergency-response, and patient-confidentiality standards are followed.

· Communicate clearly with patients and attendants, explaining procedures and providing appropriate pre- and post-scan instructions.

· Support workflow coordination, appointment readiness, stock monitoring, quality assurance, and departmental audits.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
