OT Technician – Tiruppur

Job Summary

We are looking for an OT Technician to support routine Operation Theatre activities at our Tiruppur location. The candidate should have previous hospital experience and be familiar with OT preparation, equipment handling, sterilization, and coordination with the clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare the Operation Theatre before scheduled procedures.
- Arrange and check instruments, equipment, and required OT supplies.
- Assist doctors and nursing staff during procedures as instructed.
- Ensure instruments are cleaned, sterilized, and properly arranged.
- Follow infection-control and safety procedures.
- Check OT equipment and report any issues to the concerned team.
- Maintain OT registers, checklists, and required documentation.
- Assist with patient preparation and transfer as directed by the clinical team.




- Monitor availability of consumables and inform the concerned team when replenishment is required.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the OT area.
- Coordinate with nurses and other clinical staff for scheduled procedures.
- Follow hospital protocols related to patient safety and OT operations.

Eligibility

- Diploma / B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology or equivalent qualification.
- Previous hospital experience required.
- Knowledge of OT instruments, sterilization, and basic theatre procedures.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a clinical team.
- Basic documentation and computer skills are an advantage.
- Immediate joiners required.
