Key Responsibilities – Patient Navigation & Welfare Officer

- Guide cancer patients and their caregivers throughout the treatment journey under Konark Cancer Foundation’s SAATHI Programme.
- Assist patients with hospital registration, appointments, treatment-related formalities, and navigation of hospital departments.
- Coordinate with hospital staff, doctors’ offices, social workers, and other departments to facilitate timely patient care.
- Provide welfare support and guidance to economically disadvantaged cancer patients and their families.
- Facilitate accommodation assistance and travel-related support for patients travelling for treatment.
- Connect eligible patients with government schemes, charitable organisations, and other available financial assistance resources.
- Provide information and facilitate access to food, prosthetics, wigs, and other patient welfare services.
- Offer emotional support, compassionate guidance, and reassurance to patients and caregivers throughout the treatment process.
- Maintain accurate patient records, case documentation, navigation registers,



and service utilisation data.
- Follow up on patient referrals and welfare requests to ensure timely guidance and appropriate assistance.
- Coordinate with NGOs, charitable trusts, accommodation providers, and other partner organisations to address patient needs.
- Handle patient helpline enquiries and provide accurate information about available support services.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on patient navigation activities and welfare services.
- Maintain patient confidentiality, dignity, and privacy while ensuring ethical and patient-centred service delivery.
- Identify unresolved patient concerns and escalate them to the appropriate hospital department or programme supervisor.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
