JOB DESCRIPTION – ARCHITECT

1. Job Summary

The Architect will be responsible for planning, designing, developing architectural drawings, coordinating with consultants, obtaining statutory approvals, and assisting in the successful execution of building construction projects while ensuring compliance with applicable building regulations and quality standards.

2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Architectural Planning & Design

- Prepare conceptual plans, schematic designs, and detailed architectural layouts.
- Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, and building details.
- Prepare residential, commercial, institutional, and other building designs as required.
- Ensure efficient space planning, functionality, aesthetics, and client requirements.
- Coordinate architectural designs with structural and MEP consultants.

B. Working Drawings & Documentation

- Prepare detailed architectural working drawings for site execution.
- Develop door-window schedules, staircase details, toilet details, and finishing layouts.
- Prepare drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant architectural software.
- Check drawings for dimensions, levels, coordination, and execution feasibility.
- Maintain updated drawings and revision records.

C. Statutory Approvals & Regulations

- Prepare drawings and documentation for building permission and other statutory approvals.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Maharashtra UDCPR, local DCPR, NBC provisions, and relevant development control regulations.
- Coordinate with Municipal Councils, Municipal Corporations, Town Planning Departments,



and other authorities as applicable.
- Assist in obtaining NOCs, commencement certificates, completion certificates, and occupancy certificates, wherever required.

D. Site Coordination & Project Management

- Visit construction sites to verify execution against approved drawings.
- Coordinate with civil engineers, structural consultants, contractors, and site supervisors.
- Resolve architectural and technical issues arising during construction.
- Review shop drawings, material samples, and finishing details where required.
- Monitor workmanship, design intent, and adherence to specifications.
- Report site progress, drawing discrepancies, and pending decisions to management.

E. Client & Team Coordination

- Understand client requirements and present design proposals.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants.
- Attend project review meetings and maintain records of decisions.
- Ensure timely completion of drawings, submissions, and assigned deliverables.
- Communicate design changes and revised instructions to the concerned team.

3. Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch).
- Valid registration with the Council of Architecture, wherever required for the assigned professional responsibilities.




- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and architectural drafting.
- Knowledge of Maharashtra UDCPR and building permission procedures.
- Understanding of construction methods, materials, and detailing.

4. Preferred Skills

- Experience in residential and commercial building projects.
- Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, 3D visualization, or similar software.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and project documentation.
- Ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

5. Performance Expectations

The Architect will be evaluated on:

- Accuracy and quality of architectural drawings.
- Timely completion of assigned work.
- Compliance with applicable regulations.
- Coordination with consultants and site teams.
- Quality of design and practical execution.
- Client satisfaction and professional conduct.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

6. Reporting & Accountability

The Architect shall report to the designated senior management or department head and shall be responsible for the quality, accuracy, coordination, and timely delivery of assigned architectural work.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹52,000.00 per month
