Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Piping Engineer for our IOCL Tank Project at Surat, Gujarat. The candidate will be responsible for piping fabrication, erection, installation, testing, and commissioning activities, ensuring quality, safety, coordination, and timely project completion.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate piping fabrication, erection, installation, and testing activities at the project site.
- Read and interpret P&ID; drawings, isometric drawings, piping layouts, and technical specifications.
- Monitor daily site progress and ensure completion according to the project schedule.
- Coordinate with project managers, planning engineers, supervisors, QA/QC teams, and subcontractors.
- Ensure the availability and proper utilisation of piping materials, fittings, valves, and supports.
- Monitor pipe fitting, welding, alignment,



and piping support installation.
- Coordinate hydrotesting, flushing, pressure testing, and inspection activities as per approved procedures.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and applicable codes.
- Maintain daily progress reports, manpower records, material records, and inspection documentation.
- Ensure compliance with site safety procedures, Permit to Work (PTW), PPE requirements, and toolbox talks.
- Identify technical and execution-related issues and coordinate with management for timely resolution.
- Coordinate with the client, consultants, and other departments for inspections, approvals, and work completion.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of piping fabrication, erection, and installation.
- Ability to read P&ID; and isometric drawings.
- Knowledge of piping materials, fittings, valves, and supports.
- Understanding of welding, hydrotesting, and inspection procedures.
- Strong site coordination and manpower management skills.
- Knowledge of QA/QC procedures and industrial safety standards.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and daily progress reporting.

Experience and Qualifications

- Experience: 3–6 years in piping engineering and site execution.
- Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, storage tank, or EPC projects is preferred.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
