- Create CNC programs using Mastercam software for VMC machines.
- Prepare 2D/3D tool paths and machining programs.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and GD&T.;
- Select suitable cutting tools, feeds and speeds.
- Generate and modify CNC programs as per component requirements.
- Optimize tool paths for better quality and cycle time.
- Coordinate with CNC operators and production team during machining.
- Check and troubleshoot programming-related machining issues.
Required Skills:
- Robust knowledge of Mastercam & VMC programming.
- Knowledge of CNC machining and cutting tools.
- Engineering drawing reading knowledge.
- Knowledge of G-code/M-code and Fanuc control is preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing/machining industry preferred.
